well, generically, called Records...

whole albums were called LPs or Long Players which spin at 33 to 33 1/3 RPM

then there were Singles with 1 song on it.. they came in 7 inch diameter or 12 inch diameter.. the 12 inch was usually remixed or extended versions of the 7 inch version.. which was usually the version on the album...

they were Singles which spun at 45 RPM

the really really old ones spun at 78 RPM and were made for the old phonograms or victrolas Razz

I think she should be able to find old turntables at places like the sungei rd thieve's market for very little money. Since she's using them as props they dun even need to be functional Laughing

But I think its even better if she asks friends or their parents if they have any lying around unused and just borrow them for the event.

sometimes i wonder about the boss.. she's so sick that she's on the verge of collapse and throwing up.. yet still in office...

also, a project which is put on hold while other sections haggle about the implementation... we've got the collaterals designed..

the design is nice but i think the artist isn't very good with english.. makes some english errors...

we've corrected them but the guy made a few new ones..

uhhh.. my colleague is told to 'be more careful and check the work' when he was the one who didn't make the new mistakes...

i think my boss should go home and leave me the hell alone today Laughing

How come ppl think 2% GST is such a big thing?
At the rate world prices are increasing and health and medical care going through the roof, even if they increase the handouts to the poor, they can't increase it by much also since they are already heavily subsidised in other aspects

Why ppl think that 7% GST is damn expensive and high
It's really low compared to other countries

These people want some sort of social security system in place. Then you ask them whether they willing to pay 10 to 20% VAT, 30 to 50% income tax. Laughing

Then you ask them how to do that without having the national debt go through the roof.

And in Europe it's like a few rich ppl earning money to support to lazy farkers who depend on handouts Evil or Very Mad

there's high inflationary pressure that I think the govt is trying to counter by depressing wages, flooding the market with cheaper imported labour ... in the name of "competitiveness" ...

the average heartlander is no longer able to save ... he doesn't need retirement planning cos he won't be able to retire ...

once upon a time I thought that global competition is inevitable .... but now it seems that taking away all forms of protectionism is economic suicide ...
